If it was dead easy, you wouldn't do it

As long as I can remember, my AH-HA moments have been so IMAX I simply cannot miss them.

I can imagine a Universal audience looking down, giving each other knowing glances while saying to one another (telepathically of course):

This is my favourite AH-HA moment of all times.

There is a reason I am telling it to you today.

I will, I promise get to it promptly but first.

LONG, LONG STORY SHORT VERSION:

Sold my first business in 1998

Retrained to be a careers advisor

Morphed into a life coach

Ran classes for people who wanted to make career changes

The first weekend class I ran nearly broke me.

I wasn't prepared for so many lids to pop off and issues people had been pushing down for years, to burst to the surface.

I arrived home

exhausted

frightened

full of self doubt

and a little broken myself.

I reached for the remote control and threw myself onto the bed.

I practically yelled (to no-one in particular):

I CAN'T DO THIS IT'S TOO HARD!!!!!!

At that precise moment (I kid you not) ,

Sir Peter Blake rugged face filled the small TV screen.

He looked directly into the camera

and said:

BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

I assume he had been asked about doing some daring and challenging boaty stuff around the world.

He is one of my heroes.

He was a very famous New Zealand yachtsman/adventurer.

Go here to find out more about this amazing man: http://sirpeterblaketrust.org/sir-peters-history

I have been wobbling over opening my online shop.

I find behind the scenes computer stuff,

trying to work out postage etc etc

really challenging

it makes me want to run away and hide weeping in a corner of my studio.

OK OK OK so it's not as if I am in the ocean facing HUGE waves (but it feels like it to me!!!!).

So, warts and all,

no doubt it has glitches I will find out about

as raw as it is............TRA-LAAAAAAAA

I am opening it this Friday (September 9th 2016).

Everyone who places an order during the month of September will get a free card that will look like this:

Sir Peter Blake had a lucky pair of red socks that he used to wear.

FROM MY CREATIVE SPACE TO YOURS

let's fill this world with quirky stuff

do things that make us smile

let's share our creations with each other

and of course, buy things from my on the line shop

hahahahahahahahahaha

(just before you thought I was getting a little too profound for my own good).
